Applying to Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential- Orientation & Mobility

Applicants who are seeking the Clinical Rehabilitation Services Credential in Orientation and Mobility are required to also apply to the Master of Arts Degree in Special Education. Exceptions can be made by petition for Credential applicants who already hold a Master’s degree. More information about the credential is found below:

Applications for fall semester are due March 15

Applications for spring semester are due October 15

  • Certificate of Clearance (COC) Fingerprint Requirement
  • Basic Skills Requirement

Application Process

Step 1:

  • Complete a University application (CSU Mentor)
  • Submit original transcripts from all universities attended

Step 2:

  • Complete a Department application (Special Education).
    Select Program area of emphasis for the degree and credential
  • Submit original transcripts from all universities attended

Step 3:

After submitting your applications you can confirm your admission status on your
SFSU Gateway account.
